Legilimency
This is the art of magically navigating through the onion like layers to a person's mind as well as correctly interpreting one's findings. The opposition of legilimency is occlumency, which is used to shield one's mind from the invasion and influence of legilimency.
Queenie is a particularly strong legilimens, capable of reading thoughts as they form and has a tendency to verbalize her responses to them, which has gotten her into trouble in the past. She is never malicious with it though she has stated that it seems to be the easiest to read minds when people are hurting. As a result of her natural ability, Queenie has a hard time keeping this to herself, though she does her absolute best since being around so many diverse people now.

• Queenie cannot utilize this spell unless she's face to face with the person. In other words, it cannot be used via the network.
• Because of this being a natural ability with her, she doesn't need to verbally cast the spell, it is simply something she's capable of without wand waving or practicing verbal casting. That being said, if someone has the ability to feel their mind being probed they will notice her being there.
• If spell detection is something that your character can do, they will have the ability to notice her using it. Detecting the spell isn't something she can hide.
• Those affected will not feel much of anything as she's one of the better skilled legilimens users. There is no pain.

BIO: a young witch from new york during the 1920s. she is not the best spellslinger around but is capable with texts, potions, and other mundane spells. she loves her friends and her sister, and would do anything for them.
